Queen Equestrian had the opportunity to have a Pop- Up-Shop at Grandview Farm's Horse Trial on Sept 29th 2019. The event was a thrilling competition featuring multi-level riders and horses from across the nation in what can best be described as an equestrian triathlon. Grandview Farms is one of Central Ontario’s premier Eventing facilities, located in the rolling hills of Oro. It has been home to the Grandview Spring and Summer Horse Trials since 1992. Eventing also called Horse Trials, equestrian competition, testing the overall abilities of horse and rider in competition at dressage, cross-country and endurance riding, and stadium show jumping. The first event, the dressage competition, tests the horse’s obedience and the rider’s ability. It consists of a series of movements at the trot, walk, and canter; performance is judged on a point system of from 0 to 6 points for each required gait. “General impression” is also judged, and points are deducted for performing the movements in the wrong order. The second competition, considered the most difficult and most important event of the three-day competition, is a test of speed, endurance, and jumping ability on a course divided into steeplechase, cross-country, and two road and track sections. The length of the course varies according to the significance of the competition. The final event is devoted to a show jumping competition designed to demonstrate a horse’s ability to perform after the severe endurance test of the previous events. Queen Equestrian's Natasha Euteneier was present and blown away by the overall beauty, intensity, love and passion involved in the sport from horse and riders. Thank you to Grandview Farms & the Ontario Eventing Association for the remarkable competition. Cross country courses Happy customer in her new Hat

Horse back riding is an expression. The reason women are riders is because they can feel that connection through another being- the horse. Horse and Rider become connected because all humans crave connection, they can get an escape , and feel powerful. Women may not necessarily feel powerful in the corporate world or in their lives. Riding sparks within them something that is greater that they didn’t realize was inside, but it is there! This spark encourages them become stronger, more powerful, greater . The reason I support the equestrian society is to help women express themselves, feel powerful, in control, stronger and more confident. Fashion is also an expression . When you put on great clothes and you dress for the role and dress for success you feel more confident / powerful, and amazing . Queen Equestrian was created to help women to feel that power and confident & beautiful in and out of the saddle from stable to street!
